Lamborghini Veneno launch

Something From Technician:

The Lamborghini Veneno is a limited production sports car, first exhibited during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. It is a show piece based on the Lamborghini Aventador and was built to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary. The prototype, Car Zero, is finished in grey and includes an Italian flag vinyl on both sides of the car. The engine is a development of the Aventador's 6.5 L V12 and produces 750 PS (552 kW; 740 bhp).[36]

Only three production cars will be produced. There will be a green, white, and red one, each representing a colour of the Italian flag. Car Zero, which was the vehicle on display,[37] will be retained by the factory for the museum. The three production cars will cost €3.12 million each, and all three have been sold.[38] Two are destined for the USA.

Veneno means 'Venom' in Spanish and Portuguese.

Engine output

When it comes the turn of engine there is assumption that Lamborghini is really very far from other sports car brand like Bugatti but this time lamborghini proved all the people wrong with the top speed of 355km/hr and very powerful engine of more the 750HP this brand proved itself that they are neither very away from those this engine is exclusively designed for Veneno only with 12 cylinder engine this car gives a very good performance onthe race trac k as well as on the road.

Top speed

This time on the occasion of the Lamborghinis 50th anniversary they have given their customers s something new that is a massive speed high speed in this car although this car might be the best looking car of the year 2013 the company do not louses their focus on the top speed of the car and this time they give a huge increase in the top speed and now in this Lamborghini models have a very powerfull 12 valve engine which deliavers the very aggressive speed that is 355km/hr. The whole body is made extremely aero-dynamic and with the help of this very powerful engine this car gets its top speed of 355km/hr which is really amazing.

Interior

The instrument panel in the Reventón comprises three TFT liquid crystal displays (LCDs) with two different display modes. The instruments are housed in a structure milled from a solid aluminium block, protected by a carbon fiber casing. The car's instrumentation includes a "G-Force-Meter" which displays the magnitude and direction of the g-forces acting upon the car. The seats of the Reventón are black leather and brown Alcantaraccording to Volkswagen Group and certified by TÜV Süddeutschland, the final production Veyron engine produces 1,001 metric horsepower (736 kW; 987 bhp) of motive power, and generates 1,250 newton metres (922 lbf·ft) of torque.[1][24] The nominal figure has been stated by Bugatti officials to be conservative, with the real total being 1,020 metric horsepower (750 kW; 1,006 bhp) or more.

From Front

Exterior

The Veneno have the best and mind blowing design which Lamborgini have ever produced.
The Veneno features an all-new carbon fiber exterior. All Reventóns have the same exterior color, described as "mid opaque grey without the usual shine."

Lamborghini has also picked up some of parent company Audi's design language. It is the first Lamborghini to incorporate daylight running lights into the headlamps. Seven light-emitting diodes (LEDs) at each headlamp flank the bi-Xenon main beam and stay lit whenever the car is in movement. Due to the high temperatures in the rear lower part of the car, special heatproof LEDs are used for the indicator and hazard lights, stoplights and rear lights with a triple arrow optical effect

Something Extra

The Lamborghini Veneno features a twelve-cylinder power unit with a displacement of 6.5 liters, an extremely fast-shifting 7-speed ISR transmission with 5 driving modes and permanent all-wheel drive, as well as a racing chassis with pushrod suspension and horizontal spring/damper units. Above all, however, the Veneno benefits from the very special expertise that Automobili Lamborghini possesses in the development and execution of carbon-fiber materials - the complete chassis is produced as a CFRP monocoque, as is the outer skin of this extreme sports car. The inside, too, features innovative, Lamborghini-patented materials such as Forged Composite and CarbonSkin.

Fully in keeping with the tradition of the brand, the name of the Veneno originates from a legendary fighting bull. Veneno is the name of one of the strongest and most aggressive fighting bulls ever. He is also famous for being one of the fastest bulls in the history of bullfighting. His name became popular in 1914, when he fatally wounded the famous torero Jose Sanchez Rodríguez during the bullfight in the arena Sanlucar de Barrameda's, Andalusia, Spain.

The Lamborghini Veneno brings the aerodynamic efficiency of a racing prototype to the road. Every detail of its form pursues a clear function - exceptional dynamics, optimum downforce with minimal drag and perfect cooling of the high-performance engine. Yet the Veneno is unmistakably a Lamborghini; it sticks firmly to the consistent design philosophy of all the super sports cars from Sant'Agata Bolognese. That includes the extreme proportions, as well as the powerfully arrow-shaped front end and the interplay between razor-sharp lines and precise surfaces.

The entire front end of the Lamborghini Veneno has been laid out for perfect airflow and downforce. The front end works as a large aerodynamic wing. Large channels guide the air to the outlets in the front hood and in front of the windshield, as well as to the front wheels. Characteristic for Lamborghini is the Y shape of the angular headlamps that reach well into the fenders as well as the scissor doors.

The division of the fenders from the car body is a reference to the world of sport prototypes and optimizes at the same time the aerodynamic flow. The side line of the Veneno is therefore dominated by enormous sills and the mighty wheel arches front and rear. Here, too, sophisticated aerodynamics ensure perfect airflow to the large openings for engine cooling and intake air.

Just like the front end, the rear of the Veneno has also been optimized for underbody aerodynamics and high speed cornering stability. The smooth underbody transitions into a substantial diffuser framing the four sizable exhaust pipes divided by a splitter to increase the level of downforce peak. Large openings serve to ventilate the engine bay and manage the airflow to the rear wing, with the only sealed area at the rear being reserved for the license plate. The rear lights, including brake lights, indicator lights and fog lights, pick up the Y theme as well. The engine cover sports six wedge-shaped openings, with the focus here, too, on optimum dissipation of heat from the engine. The engine cover extends into a large central "shark" fin, which improves efficiency during braking and rear-end stability, by delivering additional downforce at high yaw angles and thus increasing the high-speed cornering performance.

The adjustable rear wing's design is the product of Motorsport experience and extensive aerodynamic simulation to ensure the best performance of rear wing interaction with rear diffuser air flow.

The exclusive alloy wheels measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear and are equipped with center mountings. Their design is also determined by aerodynamic functionality - a carbon-fiber ring around the wheel rim works like a turbine to deliver additional cooling air to the carbon-ceramic brake discs. The Veneno is painted in an all-new, grey metallic-look color with individual parts gleaming in the black of the visible carbon-fiber structure. The only car to display all three colors of the Italian flag as an accent is the car shown at Geneva, the unit which will remain property of Lamborghini. The three cars sold to customers each feature a single color of the Italian national flag, together a triology in green, white and red accents and thus representing each a unique piece.

The Veneno is further proof of Automobili Lamborghini's unique competence in CFRP-based lightweight design. A monocoque made from carbon-fiber reinforced polymer forms the basis of the Veneno. It is largely similar to the Aventador monocoque - as are the aluminum sub-frames front and rear - although its form has been adapted to the new design. All exterior parts are made from CFRP. The Veneno meets all safety and registration requirements worldwide, and naturally also incorporates a full complement of safety systems from airbags through to the adapted ESP handling system.

Carbon fiber dominates the interior of the Veneno, too. The carbon fiber monocoque becomes visible inside the car in the area of the central tunnel and the sills. The two lightweight bucket seats are made from Lamborghini's patented Forged Composite. The woven carbon-fiber CarbonSkin is used to clad the entire cockpit, part of the seats and the headliner. This unique material is soaked in a very special kind of resin that stabilizes the fiber structure, while allowing the material to remain supple. Like a hi-tech fabric, this extremely fine-looking carbon-fiber matting fits perfectly to any form, and it reduces weight.

The racing personality has been transferred also to the instrument panel. It has been completely redesigned and now, thanks to an aggressive graphics and to the introduction of some additional features like the G-meter, provides all necessary information to the driver for control of the car.

The systematic, carbon-fiber, lightweight design of the Veneno is not only visible, it is also evident on the scales: With a dry weight of just 1,450 kilograms (3,190 pounds), the Veneno is even 125 kilos (275 pounds) lighter than the already extremely lean Aventador. The highly beneficial power-to-weight ratio of 1.93 kg/hp (4,25 lbs/hp) guarantees a performance that is nothing short of mind-blowing. Even the stunning acceleration figure of 2,8 seconds cannot adequately describe it. Despite an aerodynamic setup configured for extreme downforce, the Veneno possesses exceptionally low wind resistance which allows it to reach a top speed of 355 km/h (221 mph).

The twelve-cylinder with a displacement of 6.5 liters is a thrilling combination of absolute high-revving frenzy and phenomenal pulling power. Its output has been raised to 552 kW / 750 hp, facilitated through enlarged intake paths, optimized thermodynamics, a slightly higher rated rpm and an exhaust system with even lower back pressure. The ISR manual gearbox, permanent all-wheel drive and pushrod suspension have all been specifically adjusted to meet the demands of the Veneno.

Something From Technician:

A roadster version of the vehicle was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car would use the engine from the Murciélago LP 670–4 Super Veloce.[20] Autocar has since published a report, in June 2009, saying that potential buyers have been shown the car–although a Lamborghini spokesman told the publication that reports of the car were "just speculation".[21] Production was set for a run of 15 units, with a MSRP of €1,100,000.[22] The Reventón Roadster has a slightly lower top speed than the Reventón, its top speed is 205 mph and it takes just 3.3s to reach 62 mph

The first car went to Lamborghini of Las Vegas,[15] and was allegedly sold to Khalid Abdul Rahim of Bahrain.[16]

On 21 November 2008, Lamborghini announced the delivery of the last Lamborghini Reventón to a British customer of the official Midlands dealer, Lamborghini Birmingham.[17] However, CarsUK's later report disputed the official claim, and revealed that the car #20 was delivered to Lamborghini Houston, as were two other cars.

Top Speed

When it comes the turn of speed Reventon is neither very far from any of the top class racing cars as the is a roadster model and desighned for driveng in city road so there is little reduction of top speed with the top speed of  305km/hr this a very good car .Lamborgini have their biggest fact that if they design the roadster model the speed and power is obtained according to the city conditions only so that there would be no chances of any damage if the car goes to its top speed also. This car is really goos at the terms of  speed it reaches 0 to 100km/hr in just 3.3 sec

Something Extra

The Lamborghini Reventón is not destined to remain a one-off. Less than 20 Lamborghini friends and collectors will be able to own this extraordinary car and, naturally, enjoy the incomparable pleasure of driving it. Each Reventón Roadster will be sold for 1.1 Million Euro (without taxes). Deliveries will begin October 2009.

All Lamborghinis are created with an avantgarde approach to design; a fast-moving technical sculpture. The Reventón Roadster is derived from the same creative thinking as the Coupé. Its designers found their inspiration in aviation - the aggressive wedge shape evokes images of fighter jets.

The powerful arrowhead form at the front, the mighty air intakes pulled way forward, the broad side skirts, the upwards opening scissor doors and the rear end with its menacing edges - the Roadster is clad in a design of maximum functionality and spectacular clarity. Details set stylish accents, such as headlamps featuring bi-xenon units with LEDs forming the daytime running lights and indicators. The rear lamps are also equipped with LEDs.

Like the Coupé, the Reventón Roadster measures 4700 mm (185 in.) long. It has a wheelbase of 2665 mm (105 in.) and is 2058 mm (81 in.) wide and 1132 mm (45 in.) high. The driver and passenger seating positions are low and sporty, separated by a substantial central tunnel.

Behind the two seats are two hidden pop-up bars that deploy upwards in just a few hundredths of a second in the event of an imminent rollover. A fixed, horizontal wing-shaped member behind the seats bears the third brake light. The design of the Roadster's long back is also quite distinct from that of the Coupé. The engine bonnet is virtually horizontal and a total of four windows made from glass provide a view of the mighty V12 in all its technical elegance.

The base bodyshell of the Reventón is already so stiff that the Roadster requires only minimal reinforcement. It has a dry weight of only 1690 Kg (3,725 lbs.), just 25 Kg, (55 lbs.) more than the Coupé.

Like the Coupé, the cell of the Roadster is made from high-strength steel profile and carbon components joined with specialist adhesive and rivets. The bodyshell is made almost entirely from carbon fiber elements, with sheet steel used only for the outer door skins.

A unique paint finish completes the razor sharp design language of the Lamborghini Reventón Roadster. For this exclusive special edition, designers have created a new shade of matt grey called Reventón Grey. As for the Reventón Coupé, which is a slightly different shade of grey, this is a matt paint finish that, in the sunlight, displays an unexpected impression of depth thanks to its special metal particles.

The wheels of the Reventón Roadster also incorporate the interplay of matt and glossy elements. The five spokes of the rims each bear a Y-form, and on each spoke are mounted small crescent-shaped wings made from matte carbon. These provide not only an unusual visual impact, but also a turbine effect that further improves cooling of the mighty ceramic brake discs.

The interior of the Reventón Roadster conveys the same powerful design as the exterior. The cockpit is structured with technical clarity, the interfaces arranged for functionality. Like a modern aircraft, the open two-seater no longer has classic analogue instrumentation - instead, information is delivered via two transreflective and one transmissive liquid-crystal displays.

The driver can switch between two modes at the touch of a button - one digital view with illuminated bars and one level with classic round dials, albeit with changing color graphics. Centrally located at the top of the display is the G-force meter. It represents the intensity of the forces acting on the Reventón Roadster under acceleration, braking and heavy cornering; the same format used in Formula 1.

The instruments are mounted in a casing machined from solid aluminium which is housed in a carbon fiber dashboard. The interior displays uncompromisingly clean craftsmanship and features a host of carbon fiber applications - e.g. on the center tunnel - aluminium, Alcantara and leather. The central panels and the seat cushions are perforated, with precision stitching gracing their outer edges.

The twelve-cylinder engine that powers the Reventón Roadster is a Lamborghini icon - and the technical feature that defines the character of the car. It is one of the world's most powerful naturally-aspirated engines. With a compression ratio of 11 : 1 and a displacement of 6496 cc (396.41 in3,) it generates 670 PS (493 kW) at 8,000 rpm. Its maximum torque of 660 Nm (487 lb-ft) kicks in at 6,000 rpm.

Design

One of the most controversial topic of automobile market during 1991 was the new Bugatti EB110 GT and Its very powerful engine and its impressive design as all previous model this was really an innovation .So, lets talk about the design of the car the new bugatti EB110 GT have 2 seats and doors with 2 doors coupe style .as the lamborgini and ferrari now bugatti gates open upward instead of sidewards. This car have aero dynamic design which make it look more better and sporty.

Something Extra

No expense was spared in designing the new Bugatti and from scratch one of the most advanced vehicles of its day was designed and built. Launched on the day of Ettore's 110th birthday (09-15-1991), the new car was aptly named 'EB 110'. Scene of the launch was the Versailles Palace, the former domicile of the French royal family.

Much like its predecessors the EB 110 featured a uniquely styled body complete with the characteristic horse-shoe shaped grill. Responsible of the design was the Italian designer Marcello Gandini. Unlike his previous wedge-shaped designs like the Lamborghini Countach and Lancia Stratos, the EB 110's body is round and voluptuous. To save weight, the entire body was made of aluminium.

The aluminium body panels are bonded to a carbon fibre monocoque chassis. The EB 110 was the first road car to use a monocoque using this exotic material. Due to the difficult production process of the composite material, the tubs were constructed by French aviation company Aerospatiale. It was suspended all around by double wishbones. The front suspension features push-rod operated shock absorbers and the rear dual shock absorbers on each side..

Changes:

As Compared to all previous cars this car was really innovative one. With the new style design and very powerful speed this car very popular during and after its release and the most important thing that bugatti changed is the power this car was king of speed at the time of 1991 a car with top speed 350km/hr was really impressable.

Now Bugatti is back with their very first sport car with new features as the first Bugatti EB 110 was launched in the year 1991 and this model was launched in 1998 there were many changes by bugatti this model was really very nice from the early two but at the term of price this was really a very expensive car of that time and many big people can even not think of buying this model at that time where lamborgini and ferrari were having much cheaper model at the same place Bugatti was keep on bringing more price cars.At the term of power this car really holds a lot of it it has very good and light engine which make it more powerful and more speedy this what the racers first choice at that time because the huge and high speed what bugatti was providing with this car at that time Many brands highest model do not have even that in the year 2013 for example Lamborginis Veneno have only 355km/hr highest speed which is the highest priced car by Lamborgini.

Something Extra

After the success of Bugatti EB110 The company launched the new version of it that was Bugatti EB 110 Super Sport with more speed and more power as the Bugatti EB 110 GT was launched in the year 1991 just after one year the company launched the sport model but when it comes the turn of Super sport Dauer they took a lot of time as this model was launched in 1998 after a long time from the launch of bugatti EB110 super sport and bugatti EB110 GT  But this all time worth because they all came with huge improvement in car that was even more speed and with more style the the car was power with 650 HP engine where as the Bugatti GT and super sport has a 660 HP engine but this car has something more in it as it has 10HP less power than previous model its high speed is even more than the other 2 models with the high speed of 370km/hr this car overtook all the previous bugatti cars and was more in demand than all previous one but unfortunately the Bugatti was sold to volkswagen and the production of this model stopped and even no further models were brought

Engine

Bugatti EB 110 SuperSport Dauer Overview:

Dauer Sportwagen in Nuremberg, Germany, bought the remaining stock of EB110 parts from the Bugatti factory.[3] A complete spare parts catalogue, with exploded diagrams and part numbers is now available from Dauer Sportwagen. The company has used the few remaining incomplete chassis to produce the limited edition Dauer EB110.

The revised car weighs 970 pounds (440 kg) less than the 4,233 pounds (1,920 kg) of the original US-spec Bugatti. The European version weighed 4,145 lb (1,880 kg), but the Dauer car weighs only 3,263 lb (1,480 kg), despite adopting the longer US-style bumpers, which protect the car better. The crash beams behind the bumper skins are also made from carbon fiber.

The Bugatti engine is a 3.5-liter, quad-cam, five-valves-per-cylinder, 60-degree V12 with four IHI turbos. The Dauer engine is rated at 865 bhp (645 kW) at 8,250 rpm, a boost of 305 bhp (227 kW) from the GT and 262 bhp (195 kW) from the SS.[4] The four-wheel-drive car can reach 60 mph (97 km/h) in just 3.35 seconds,[4] achieve a standing kilometer in under 19 seconds and has an estimated maximum speed of 230 mph (370 km/h), some 7 mph (11 km/h) faster than the original. The company Dauer Sportwagen went bankrupt in 2008. All original Bugatti parts especially the high performance parts of the EB110SS and the equipment were bought in 2011 by the company Toscana-Motors GmbH (Kaiserslautern/Germany).
